One of the things we appreciate the most about WP Engine is its proactive nature with improving its service offering to its customers. It seems like they are always looking inwards to see what they can improve, not in a casual way, more in a way where they are making it their mission to be continuously better.
Their latest update is to remove the Limit Login Requests plugin from their required plugins list. The thinking of this was quite simple in that the plugin hasn’t been updated in 2 years and we all know that WordPress has changed significantly in that time. WPEngine have taken the decision to handle this in house going forward and we think this is a great idea, the more ownership they have over the systems they use and recommend the better it is for their customers.
