What’s in it for me (or how we make your business more money)

In yesterday’s blog post I talked about everything we do as a business to give you the best possible service. We used fancy terms like Github repositories, staging areas and coding standards. We talked about our tried and tested ‘process’, but what does that really mean for you and your business?

More importantly, how can this make you more money?

When people write about reasons for why you should use them it is easy to think ‘good for you, but how does that help me?’. People want to know about the end result they are going to get, not the steps along the way which make up the process. ‘You use Github? what the hell is that’, ‘coding standards, why are they important’ are questions that we might hear.

What the person is really saying is ‘can you produce a website that my client will love, at the right price and can you deliver it when you said you would’. That is the nuts and bolts of it all, forget processes for once, it’s all about the end result.

As a development team, it’s easy to get bogged down with the process of building websites. A constant focus needs to be on the separate parts of the build to ensure consistently high quality. An equal focus must always be on the delivered project and making your client happy which is where some companies become unstuck.

So what’s in it for you?

How can you use what we do to make more money?

Here are 3 scenarios where you can make more money

1) You don’t have enough in-house skills
You might be a marketing agency that sometimes needs websites building. Great, we can build them for you and we can also recommend fantastic designers to help you. For you, our processes will seem complex, they are in fact all there to ensure your client gets an outstanding website. It also means that we can continue to work with you on the site after its live as we have a separate copy of the site to develop new features on. That way you can make money on the build of the site and also make money on upgrades, win-win.

2) You are overbooked with work and don’t have enough time to do all the work you want to.
You are a web design agency but are overstretched and cannot take on any new work. However a client comes to you that wants a WordPress website, what are you going to do, turn them away and say no. I don’t think so. If you are proactive and ask the right questions then you will find the answer to your challenge. In this case, your solution is to contact us and we can handle the build for you. As web designers you know more about the processes we follow, so you will know that they are all designed for maximum efficiency. We might even help your current developers level up their game.

3) You have a big name client that you want to deliver the best quality to.
Here is where it really matters as this is where the big money is. You have a connection with a big name client but you don’t feel like you can pitch for any WordPress development from them as you don’t have the required time or in-house skill set. You let the big fish swim away from you. Instead, you can pitch to them knowing that you have a development partner behind you who will do everything required to make the site as robust and outstanding as possible. We have client partners that we attend meetings and phone calls with and have email addresses set up for. We become a trusted part of your team and your client will never know and will love the results you deliver to them.

So what’s in it for you? More money, more opportunities, more growth and more security. You can grow your business without taking on full-time staff and you can make your clients unbelievably happy.

I don’t know about you, sounds like something amazing to me.
