A new version of WordPress was released yesterday which was a maintenance release that fixes 47 issues that have arisen since version 4.7 was released.
Unlike recent updates, which were more security issue based, this update is more about compatibility and some small fixes. These include an update for a future version of Chrome, REST API updates and also updates to media handling.
As always, please update your site to the newest version if you don’t have auto updates turned on. If you do have updates turned on and you were on 4.7 already then you should check your site as soon as possible to ensure everything is working as it should.
